Anyone with preschool kids who watch CBeebies will know what I mean when I say the ZingZillas have gone down a storm with the little ones. The hit show follows the members of the band, Zak,Tang, Panzee and Drum through their musical adventures. The band of primate friends live to play music, creating their unique ZingZilla sound each day for The Big Zing.

Musical guests visit the island too and with musical influences from rock, soul, jazz and samba, their music is guarenteed to get the little ones dancing! So what better way than to have 26 of their hits on CD! The wait is over, released on 4th October 2010 you can now get your hands on the album and if your little one is a fan this is a great treat for them! Zingzillas - The Album

So when I was given the chance to review the album, I jumped at the chance. H loves the show, often asking for it on when it’s not! What I wasn’t prepared for was the enthusiasm from B when she heard it too. They both get up and dance and it’s a great alternative to the TV being on in the afternoon! I’m also impressed with the track list, sooften these kids CD’s come out with 9 or 10 tracks and it’s over in no time at all. But with 26 tracks it is spot on. We’ve not listened to it all in one sitting as yet but it means we hear different songs each time!

In a few weeks we are going up to Scotland and the drive is going to be long and this is the first thing I am packing. Might not be my cup of tea for the journey but if they are happy things will run smoothly!

The RRP is £9.99 and for me, well worth the money. It’s an ideal stocking filler, and lets face it we’re at that time of year already!

Life Without Kids

Life without kids would be quiet

It would be tidy

It would be clean

It would be organised

Life without kids would be a full time job

It would be a 37 hour working week

It would be free time at weekends

It would be out partying Friday/Saturday

It would be lying in Sunday till midday

Life without kids would be having money

It would be money to spend on me

It would be money left after all the bills are paid

It would be savings

Life without kids would be holidays

It would be holidays abroad

It would be hot, sandy and sunny

It would be for two weeks at a time

Life without kids would be living in another country

It would be just going and trying

It would be no ties

It would be a lets see how it goes

Life without kids would be no loving you unconditionally

It would be no one needing you

It would be no cuddles in the middle of the night

It would be no looks of pure love and adoration

It would be no feelings of pride and joy at your child

It would be not having someone loving you till the end of your days

All about me!

For those of you who didn’t read my old blog, or just want to remind yourself of my background, here goes…….

I’m a 33 year old single mum. I have two daughters, B is 8 and H is 3. I have been single since I was 5 months pregnant with H, and yes they both have the same dad. They see him alternate weekends and holidays unless he is away with work.

When my marriage broke down I moved the length of the country to be back at home near family and unfortunately lost my job due to the credit crunch too. I returned to work in March 2010, as a Family Support Worker. It’s such a rewarding job but hard work too. I’m now in a new relationship with Mr D and have the added dynamics of his children and how they fit into both my life and my girls lives! Being a parent brings some challenges but I wouldn’t change it!

As a single mum it’s a great way to view my opinions and get other points of view. Don’t get me wrong I have some fantastic friends and family on my doorstep and I talk things through with them. Sometimes the view of a perfect stranger is a breeze of fresh air though.

So be warned, I really am getting into this now and I am likely to post some utter drivel as well as some (hopefully) interesting stuff. All I ask is that you comment honestly, I don’t expect my opinions to be agreeable to everyone and at times I will be looking for some opinions that contradict my own.
